The anchor chain is a chain connecting the anchor and the hull cable, which is mainly used to transfer the holding force of the anchor to offset the effect of external forces on the ship to ensure that the ship can safely berth in the designated waters. The anchor chain is composed of ordinary chain link, connecting chain link, connecting shackle, swivel ring, etc. According to the structure of the anchor chain, it is divided into two kinds: studlink and studless. The tensile strength of the stopper chain is large, and the anchor link with the stopper chain is generally used on board.
